Dr. Park Sung Min

Dr. Sung-Min Park has served as the National Director of Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) since 2003 and as a Global Vice President for East Asia with CCC International since 2021. Born in 1959, Dr. Park brings a distinctive blend of theological insight and engineering expertise to his dynamic leadership and ministry.

He earned a Ph.D. in New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) in Deerfield, Illinois, where he also received his Master of Divinity (magna cum laude) in 1992. Before entering theological studies, Dr. Park pursued an academic path in engineering, earning a Ph.D. in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1989, following an M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering in 1985. His academic journey began at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where he received a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering in 1982.

Dr. Park’s career bridges both academia and ministry. Beginning in 1995, he served as Professor of New Testament and Academic Dean at the East Asia School of Theology in Singapore, later becoming Principal (1996–1998). He began his ministry with CCC as Executive Director of Korea Campus Crusade for Christ in 1998 and later served as Area Team Leader for East Asia Orient CCC. From 2003 to 2010, he also held the position of Vice President at The King’s College in New York, where he contributed significantly to Christian higher education and leadership development.

Dr. Park married Dr. Yoon-Hee Kim in 1985. A devoted full-time staff member of Korea CCC, she also served as President of Torch Trinity Graduate University (2019–2023) and is a prolific author and speaker. Together, they share a deep commitment to equipping individuals to fulfill their God-given callings.

With decades of experience in global ministry, academic leadership, and organizational development, Dr. Park remains dedicated to advancing the Great Commission—transforming lives and renewing nations through the power of the Gospel. He currently resides in Seoul, South Korea, with his wife, Yoon-Hee.
